R&O Construction has been decades in the making, with Rob and Ollie meeting 20 years ago and quickly becoming close friends.

After leaving school, Rob pursued carpentry and plumbing, working under engineer-turned-builder Neil. There, he learnt his trade and developed a deep understanding of the importance of quality, precision, and care when working on clients’ homes. Rob is grateful for the time spent alongside Neil, whose wealth of experience helped lay the foundation for his successful career in construction.

Ollie joined a local restoration company, Cox Restoration, where he completed his apprenticeship and spent seven years working on historic buildings and creating new homes in a traditional style. This experience enabled him to master traditional restoration techniques and ignited a passion for building properties inspired by English vernacular architecture.

Recognising the opportunity to combine their knowledge and expertise, R&O Construction was founded, with one goal in mind: to help people enhance and create beautiful homes.
